From airport to location
Dwejra Bay, a breathtaking natural wonder on Gozo's west coast, offers dramatic coastal scenery and crystal-clear waters perfect for diving, snorkeling, and boat trips. It is easily accessible by car or public bus, with ample parking, though some rocky paths and boat tours may limit full accessibility for those with mobility issues. Visitors can explore independently, but guided boat tours from the Inland Sea (approx. €4-€5 per person) are highly recommended for experiencing the unique geological features. The bay is open year-round, with spring to autumn (May-October) being ideal for water activities; winter visits might be windy, affecting boat trips. Access to the bay is free, and a typical visit lasts 2-4 hours, extending to a full day if engaging in diving or extensive swimming. Despite the 2017 collapse of the famous Azure Window, the area remains a prime destination, boasting the Blue Hole and Inland Sea, and is a fantastic spot for photography, especially at sunset.
